Straight is Great

Description: Straight body over mats


Goal: Straight body, core is tight, hips lifted to the ceiling.
Objective: Increase core strength

Equipment: 2 Equal Sized Sturdy Surfaces
Reps: 3 – 10 seconds each
Time: 5 min

  1. Using 2 equal sized sturdy elevated surfaces. Lay between with arms straight up over the ears and shoulders on one side and ankles on the other.
  2. Squeeze the entire body and lift the hips towards the ceiling, you should be suspended between the two surfaces.
    • Only the shoulders and ankles should be on the elevated surfaces.


  • Weight should be distributed through arms, shoulders and ankles, NOT the neck.
